Every pack includes

A full policy library for your service type

Tailored

CQC expects policies that reflect your actual service. Generic templates that contradict your statement of purpose are a common inspection finding.

34 quality statements

Every policy is mapped to the quality statements it evidences, so you can show inspectors exactly how your paperwork supports practice.

2–3 weeks

Typical delivery for a complete tailored pack — faster turnarounds available when a registration or inspection deadline demands it.

What's inside your policy pack

Organised into the areas inspectors actually look at — every document cross-referenced, consistent and ready to evidence.

Safeguarding and safety

Safeguarding adults, whistleblowing, incident and accident management, infection prevention and control, health and safety, lone working.

Care and clinical practice

Care planning, medication management, consent and mental capacity, moving and handling, nutrition, end of life where relevant.

People and recruitment

Safer recruitment, induction and training, supervision and appraisal, disciplinary, equality and inclusion, staff wellbeing.

Governance and quality

Quality assurance and audit, duty of candour, complaints, notifications to CQC, business continuity, record keeping.

Information governance

UK GDPR and data protection, confidentiality, access to records, social media and communications, CCTV where used.

Working with others

Visiting and involvement, working with healthcare professionals, transitions between services, advocacy and accessible information.

Policy pack questions, answered

Ask us anything →
Are your policies "CQC approved"?
No — and be wary of anyone who claims theirs are. CQC doesn't approve or endorse policies. What matters is that your policies are current, tailored to your service and actually followed in practice. That's exactly what we write, and how we map each document to the quality statements it evidences.
How many policies do I need?
It depends on your service type and regulated activities — a domiciliary care agency, a supported living service and a nursing home each need a different library. Your pack covers every core area CQC expects for your registration, without padding you'll never use.
We already have policies — can you review and fix them?
Yes. We audit your existing library against current guidance and your statement of purpose, flag gaps and contradictions, then update or rewrite only what needs it — often the quickest route for established providers.
How do updates work when guidance changes?
For 12 months we monitor legislation and CQC guidance and issue updated versions of affected policies, with a summary of what changed and what to brief to staff. After that, most clients continue on a light-touch annual review.
Is a policy pack included with registration support?
Yes — our CQC Registration service includes a tailored policy pack. This standalone service is for providers who only need the documents, or want an existing library brought up to standard.
