Care Consults Ltd ("Care Consults", "we") provides consultancy services to adult social care providers in England. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

• Enquiry details — your name, organisation, email, phone number and what you tell us about your service.
• Engagement records — correspondence, documents and notes created while we work together.
• Website usage — pages visited and approximate location, collected in aggregate (see our Cookie Policy).

Documents you share with us may include information about your staff or the people you support. We handle it only on your instructions, under the safeguards in our engagement terms.

3. How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and provide the consultation you requested.
• To deliver engagements and keep proper records of our work.
• To invoice and maintain our accounts.
• To send service updates or the monthly briefing — only where you have asked for them.

We never sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.

4. Our lawful bases

Under UK GDPR we rely on:

• Contract — to deliver services you have engaged us for.
• Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries and run our business.
• Consent — for optional communications, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Legal obligation — for accounting and regulatory records.

5. Sharing and retention

We use a small number of trusted processors — email, document storage and accounting providers — under contracts that protect your information. We may also share information with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.

Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted after 12 months. Client records are kept for 6 years after an engagement ends, then securely deleted.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal information we hold about you, object to our use of it, or receive it in a portable format.
